    How can I make an order on "Jaylas" for the first time?

    You simply add your items to your cart and click on go to check out. You will then be prompted to add in your email address, billing address and payment details and then click on Place Order. That’s it, your all done.


    Which areas do you deliver to?

    We deliver to all areas across the UAE.


    Is there a minimum order for delivery service?

    There is a standard delivery fee of AED30 on all orders less than AED350


    How do I get a receipt for my purchase?

    Once you have completed your purchase you will receive an order confirmation email that will be sent directly to the email you provided at checkout


    What Is your cancellation policy?

    We accept modifications and/or cancellations within the order confirmtion period  (this is usually an hour from placing the order) however once the order has been confirmed we are unable to make any further changes.


    What if an item I want is not available on your site?

    Please feel free to click the "contact us" button on the contact us page to let us know what you think is missing. We continously strive to introduce more products to our line and would love to hear from you.


    How do I redeem my promo code?

    You can redeem your promo code upon checkout. There will be a section that will ask you to enter a promo code or voucher.


    How do I find products that are on special offer or promotion?

    Special offers and promotions are normally advertised on the website, just click on the banner page and you will find the products


    Can I refuse products upon delivery?

    It is a silent delivery service, you will not be notified when your order is being delivered. However, you can always contact our friendly customer service team and tell them your reasons for why you do no want to  accept the order.


    Is there a minumim or maximum order?

    No, You can order as much or as little as you would like


    How can I send you feedback?

    You can contact us via the"contact us" sectionon the website where all our communication channels are listed.


    How will I know if any item in my order is unavailable?

    You will be contacted within 2 hours of placing your order however we will only list avaible items on our website.


    Do you have a return policy?

    All items from Jaylas DXB are unreturnable, however if you receive a wrong or damaged item please contact us on the same date of delivery and we well be sure to rectify the issue. Please click here for further details on a return policy.

    How can I make changes to my order after I have placed it?

    When and how can I cancel my order?

    As all our product are handmade, we get working right away. As long as your order has yet to be confirmed (usually within an hour of placing it) than we will be more than happy to cancel the order. Just reach out to us via email or whatsapp.


    What if the delivered product is incorrect or damaged?

    In this unlikely situation, all you have to do is get in touch with us. Please take a picture of the incorrect/damaged product, so that we can understand where we went wrong  and send it to our email or whatsapp. We will send out a replacement order right away.


    What happens if a product I ordered is out of stock?

    We only keep in stock items listed on our website, however in the unlikely event of an out of stock item we will reach out to you with an alternative otherwise your order will be cancelled and you will be refunded.


    I forgot something, how do I add a product to my order?

    No, however due to the nature of our product we recommend a hand delivery to prevent any damage to your purchase

    Wax Melt-Snap Bar



    What is a Wax Melt or Snap Bar?

    A wax melt or snap bar is a scented piece of wax. They are made exactly like a candle but without the wick! No flame, no hazard.


    How do I use a Snap Bar?

    You simply snap one or two pieces off the bar and pop it into the dish of your Melter. As the wax starts to melt, the fragrance will slowly release, and the aroma will fill the room. 


    Can I use a tealight oil burner to melt the wax melt?

    You can use either an electric burner or a tealight heated burner. Electric burners have their own benefit and are usually preferred by users with young kids and pets due to their flame-free option.


    Unlike a candle, the wax in a wax melt doesn’t disappear as you use it. Instead, the wax will lose its scent. If you are using a burner that is too small (i.e. small oil burner) you run the risk of overheating the wax which will burn the scent too quickly.


    How long will the scent of snap bar last for?

    Each scent can last from anything between 12 to 48 hours. Once there is no more scent, you will want to remove the wax from the burner.


    How should I remove the wax from my Melter?


    1. You can heat the cooled wax for around a minute and then it should simply slide straight out.

     

    2. Completely melt the wax and pop in a couple of cotton pads to soak the wax straight up for removal.


    3. Place the dish in the freezer to allow the wax to solidify and shrink. It should just pop straight out.



    Why is there frosting on my Snap Bars/Candles?

    This is a natural effect of 100% soy wax and is in fact a good sign that your candle/Snap Bar is 100% natural. 


    Frosting can often happen when there is a sudden change in temperature or when a product is fragranced with heavy oils like Cinnamon or Vanilla. Don't worry, this does not affect the quality of your melt or candle.

    How long can I burn my candle for?

    We recommend burning your candle for at least 3 hours the first time. You will want to ensure that the first layer has completely liquified around the edges to avoid tunnelling on the consecutive burns.


    Avoid burning your candle for more than 3 or 4 hours at a time.


    Is it important to trim the candle wick?

    Yes, this is critical. You should trim your wick to approximately 1/4 inch tall before you relight your candle. This is critical to ensure your candle burns evenly, cleanly (no black soot) and prolongs the life of your candle significantly.


    If you don’t trim your wick, the burnt wick will fall into the molten wax creating not only an unpleasant smell but also create a fire hazard.



    How can I trim my candle wick?

    You can use a wick trimmer to help you trim the wick, especially when it gets too low for scissors. Pinching the wick with your fingers is also an effective way of trimming your wick if you don’t have a wick trimmer.



    How long should my candle burn for?

    Our candles are made with Coconut and Soy wax, so they burn twice as long as a paraffin candle. All are candles should burn up to 45 hours providing they are not kept in a draft.



    How will I know when my candle is done?

    When there is only a 1/2 inch left of wax please discontinue the candle.



    Candle Safety Tips:


    • Always use a stable, heat resistant surface under the candle.


    • Keep candles out of reach of children and pets.


    • Never leave a burning candle unattended and be sure to extinguish the candle before leaving the room.
